President to speak on the history of Sharia Law in the Maldives

In this week’s radio address, President Mohamed Nasheed will speak on the history of Sharia Law in the Maldives. He will highlight the emphasis given to Islamic Sharia in the Maldives, throughout the history.

He will also speak on the Birthday of Prophet Mohamed, which is marked tomorrow.

The President’s radio address will be broadcast on the Voice of Maldives tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock.
