President Mohamed Nasheed has today met with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain.
President Nasheed and the King discussed on possible areas of cooperation between the Maldives and Bahrain. Discussions were especially focused on strengthening trade ties between the two countries.
The King expressed his hope that the President's visit has opened doors to further consolidate the ties of friendship and co-operation between both countries.
