President Mohamed Nasheed has today appointed members to the Arts Council. The Arts Council functions under Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture.
Members appointed to the council are, Moonisa Abdulla Luthufee representing the field of Crafts, Fazail Mustafa Lutfi representing Visual Arts field, Hussain Nooradhdheen Nasir representing the area of Film making, Hassan Shakir Mohamed representing the field of literature, Mohamed Hassan Didi representing the field of Music, Mohamed Hilmy representing the area of Theatre and Drama, and Mohamed Musthafa Hussain and Ahmed Shuau from the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture.
