President Mohamed Nasheed has this afternoon departed on a tour of some islands of North and South Thiladhunmathi Atoll.
During this visit, the President is scheduled to visit the islands of Kelaa, Ihavandhoo and Maarandhoo of North Thiladhunmathi, and Vaikaradhoo and Kulhudhuffushi of South Thiladhunmathi Atoll. The President will meet with the island councils and discuss the government’s developmental plans for the islands.
President Nasheed will also attend the “Dhiraagu High-Speed Network Rollout Programme” in Kulhudhuffushi.
