President Appoints Ahmed Mausoom as Chief of Staff of the President’s Office

President Mohamed Nasheed has today appointed Mr. Ahmed Mausoom as Chief of Staff of the President’s Office.

The Chief of Staff is the highest administrative authority and is in charge of the daily functions of the President’s Office, directed by the President and Vice President.The post of Chief of Staff is ranked at Cabinet level.

Prior to his appointment as Chief of Staff, Mr. Ahmed Mausoom held the post of Finance Secretary.
