President Mohamed Nasheed has spoken on the importance of faith and sincerity during the Holy month of Ramadan.
In this week’s radio address, the President noted that one of the most important reasons for Ramadan’s fasting was to consider the less fortunate and to be grateful for our own prosperity.
Further speaking on the importance of the Holy month of Ramadan, President Nasheed highlighted on the need to shape our lifestyles according to the way we are advised by religious scholars. He also pointed out that Ramadan teaches us the virtue of patience, and by being righteous during this month we will be rewarded accordingly, by the grace of Allah.
