President Mohamed Nasheed has appointed Dr Ahmed Shaheed as a member of the Presidential Commission established by the President to investigate the alleged embezzlement of state funds and resources.
Other members in the Commission are Mr Adam Manik, Sheikh Hussain Rasheed Ahmed, Mr Mohamed Aswan and Uz Abdulla Haseen.
