Egyptian Ambassador to the Maldives pays a farewell call on the President

Egyptian Ambassador to the Maldives Ms Gehan Amin has paid a farewell call on President Mohamed Nasheed.

Speaking at the meeting held at the President’s Office this morning, President Nasheed thanked Ms Amin for her efforts to further strengthen the relations that exist between the Maldives and Egypt.

At the meeting, Ms Amin noted the close friendly relations existing between the two countries and said that it was a great pleasure to the serve the Maldives as her country’s Ambassador.
