President Dr Mohamed Muizzu met with the members of Kulhudhuffushi City Council and Women's Development Committee (WDC) this morning. The meeting was held at the Secretariat of the Kulhudhuffushi City Council.

During the meeting, the City Council emphasised that housing is the most important project for Kulhudhuffushi City. They stressed the need for Value Added Facilities (VAF) to further develop the fisheries sector. The Council also relayed the need for a new office building for the council, to address erosion issues, and to build a synthetic track along with the sports arena. The members additionally urged the authorities to expedite the TVET centre and Dhamanaveshi.

During the meeting, the Kulhudhuffushi City WDC also briefed the President on the committee's work.

Speaking at the meeting, the President stated that the Administration would focus on the issues relayed by the Council. The Ministers in attendance shared the latest updates on the Government's efforts to resolve the issues.
