President Dr Mohamed Muizzu met with the members of the HDh. Finey Island Council and the Women's Development Committee (WDC). The meeting was held at the Secretariat of the Hanimaadhoo Island Council.

During the meeting, Council members expressed their development needs and concerns to the President. Topics discussed included space constraints at the school, the urgency of initiating the harbour development project within the year, and the necessity for modernising the mosque and sporting facilities for the island's youth. Additionally, Council members emphasised the importance of enhancing social efforts and promoting growth in the tourism and fisheries sectors.

The WDC members shared the need to develop a dedicated beach area for aquatic exercises.

In response, President Dr Muizzu assured the members that he would explore ways to resolve the issues raised. Ministers in attendance also provided updates on the topics that were discussed.
