Vice President Dr Mohamed Waheed today met with the Ambassador of Cuba accredited to the Maldives Mrs Nirsia Castro Guevara.
During the meeting held at the President’s Office this morning, the Vice President and Ambassador Guevara discussed the ways of further strengthening the bilateral relations between the Maldives and Cuba, especially focusing on increasing cooperation in areas of sports and culture.
Vice President Dr Waheed and Ambassdor Guevara also exchanged views on political and economic environment in both countries.
