President Dr Mohamed Waheed has been awarded the “Star of Palestine” honour. The award was presented at a ceremony held yesterday at the Palestinian President’s Place.
The medal was awarded to President Waheed in appreciation of his contribution to strengthen the fraternal relations between the two countries and for the support and considerations extended towards Palestine.
‘Star of Palestine’, is the highest honour awarded by the Palestinian Government.
