President Mohamed Nasheed has today met with First Minister of Scotland Alex Salmond.
Discussions at the meeting were focussed on close friendly relations that exist between the Maldives and Scotland, and ways of further strengthening these relations.
President Nasheed and First Minister Salmond agreed to sign an agreement between the two countries in the areas of education and renewable energy.
