The Secretary General of the World Islamic Economic Forum (WIFE), Tan Sri Ahmad Fuzi Abdul Razak called on the High Commissioner for Malaysia, Mohamad Zaki to personally hand over the invitation for President Mohamed Nasheed to attend the 6th World Islamic Economic Forum.
The 6th World Islamic Economic Forum is scheduled to be held in Kuala Lumpur from 18 - 20 May 2010. The invitation to the President is to deliver a keynote address for the special session on Climate Change. The Forum will be opened by the Dato' Sri Najib Tun Abdul Razak, Prime Minister of Malaysia and Patron of WIFE Foundation.
The High Commissioner thanked the Secretary General for the invitation and expressed hope that the President would be able to attend the important event.
