In this week’s radio address, President Mohamed Nasheed will speak on the government’s planned development projects in the islands. The government is working to begin the project in the coming weeks.
In his radio address, the President will also speak on the disturbances of 19th and 20th September 2003 in the Maafushi jail.
He will also highlight his scheduled visit to New York to participate in the 64th session of the UNGA and UN Summit on Climate Change.
The President’s radio address, during Ramadan, is being broadcast at 10.15 am, on the Voice of Maldives.
