President meets the DRP Parliamentary Group Leader

The President Mohamed Nasheed has today met with the parliamentary group leader of Dhivehi Rayyithunge Party (DRP) Mr Ahmed Thasmeen Ali.

At the meeting held at the President’s Office, the President spoke on the implementation of the government’s policies.

Noting the importance of co-operation of everyone in national issues, the President said he was confident that DRP would co-operate with the government in the issues of national interest.

Mr Ahmed Thasmeen Ali said DRP would always prioritise national interest over its political agenda.
