Vice President Dr Mohamed Waheed has met with the Chargé d’Affaires at the Embassy of the United States in Sri Lanka and the Maldives, Mr James Moore.
At the meeting held at the President’s Office today, Vice President Dr Waheed thanked Mr Moore for his efforts to further strengthen the relations that existed between the Maldives and the United States.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr Moore noted the strong bilateral relations that existed between the Maldives and the US. He said that it gave him great pleasure to serve the Maldives, and thanked the government of the Maldives for its support and co-operation.
