President Nasheed has, arrived in London last evening. On his arrival at London Heathrow Airport, he was received by Dr Farahanaz Faizal, High Commissioner in UK and staff of the High Commission.
The purpose of this visit is to participate at the Oxford University’s World Forum on Enterprise and the Environment as well as the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association’s Conference on Climate Change.
During his visit, the President will also seek British investments to various developmental projects and discuss issues of concern with British government officials and parliament members.
