After concluding his visit to Sweden, President Mohamed Nasheed has today arrived in Sri Lanka. On arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, the President was received by Sri Lanka’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Hussein Bhaila, Maldivian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Mr Ali Hussain Didi and other officials from the Sri Lankan Foreign Ministry.
The President is scheduled to meet his Sri Lankan counterpart Mahinda Rajapaksa and discuss on strengthening bilateral ties between the Maldives and Sri Lanka.
