The President expressed that the passing of Late Mallaa Lhaththuthu marks a significant loss for the nation's sporting community. In his post, President emphasised Late Mallaa Lhaththuthu's notable achievements and contributions to sports, underscoring the impact of his legacy on the country's athletic development.
President Mizzu sought solace for the bereaved family during this difficult time. The President concluded his message by praying to Almighty Allah (SWT) to grant the Late Mallaa Lhaththuthu's soul eternal peace in Jannah.
Mallaa Lhaththuthu was a prominent figure in sports, honored with the National Award of Recognition in 1990, the National Award of Honour in 2021, and the FAM's Presidential Award in 2018.
