President Mohamed Nasheed has declared that the National Flag be flown at half-mast for a period of two days from tomorrow, following the passing away of President El Hadj Omar Bongo Ondimba of Gabon.
President Nasheed also sent a message of condolence to the Prime Minister of Gabon on receiving the sad news of the passing away of President Omar Bongo.
President Omar Bongo, who led West African state for more than four decades, was 73 at the time of his passing away.
