The Spokesperson at the President’s Office, Miuvaan Mohamed, briefed the local media on the latest developments of the administration’s ongoing work on Thursday. The press conference was held at the President’s Office this afternoon.

The Minister of Higher Education, Dr Ibrahim Hassan, joined him at his weekly press conference and gave details of the new loans offered by the administration to students seeking education, both at home and abroad.

Speaking at the press conference, Miuvaan highlighted that President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, in his meeting with local business owners, had reassured that the government remains steadfast in safeguarding the interests of local businesses.

The spokesperson also highlighted a seminar hosted by Arabiyya School this week on its strategic plan in partnership with the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). He said the school had developed a SWOT analysis to identify additional ways to improve quality of education.

The spokesperson and the minister also answered queries from journalists and clarified various public interest topics at today’s press conference.
