President Mohamed Nasheed intends to give regular radio addresses. The first address will be broadcast by the Voice of Maldives on 5 June, Friday, at 7.15am.
On his first radio address, the President will highlight the development plans of the government and comment on the country’s political atmosphere. As 5 June is the World Environment Day and 8 June is World Ocean Day, the President will also comment on the significance of these two days.
