President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Thursday appointed Aminath Shifana to the post of Additional Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The President made the appointment at the Deputy Minister level.
Before her new appointment, Aminath Shifana served as the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She previously served as the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Gender, Family and Social Services and held senior positions in various other government offices.
Aminath Shifana received her Master of Management from the International Islamic University, Malaysia.
