The President of the 76th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (PGA), H.E Abdulla Shahid, has arrived in the Maldives for an Official Visit, by invitation from H.E President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.
The Minister of Tourism, H.E Dr Abdulla Mausoom, the Chief of Staff of the President's Office, H.E Uz Ali Zahir, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, H.E Ahmed Khaleel, and the Foreign Secretary, H.E Abdul Gafoor Mohamed, received PGA Shahid at Velana International Airport this morning.
President Solih had extended the invitation to PGA Shahid to visit the Maldives in his official role as the PGA during the President's visit to New York City last month to participate in the 76th Session of the UNGA.
