President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has today appointed Hassan Nashid as the Deputy Minister of Fisheries, Marine Resources and Agriculture.
Hassan Nashid had previously served as the General Manager of Horizon Fisheries Private Limited and was most recently employed as a Principal under the Ministry of Education. He also worked as a Protocol Officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and an Attaché, Consular Affairs, at the High Commission of Maldives in Sri Lanka.
Hassan Nashid holds a Bachelor of Education in English Language Teaching from Moray House College of Education in Edinburgh, Scotland. He is currently undertaking a post-graduate programme at the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
