Vice President Faisal Naseem has visited the sites of the ongoing road development project in Fuvahmulah City and the Waste Collection Centre by the Waste Management Corporation Limited (WAMCO). He stopped by both sites this evening as part of his ongoing one-day trip to Seenu Atoll and Gnaviyani Atoll.

During the road development site tour, Adam Azim, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC), briefed the Vice President on the latest updates of the project. Vice President Faisal Naseem also met with some employees at the project site and spoke with them regarding the project.

The Vice President then visited the Waste Management Site in Fuvahmulah City. The site provides the community of Fuvahmulah City with a long-term waste disposal solution and is conducted by WAMCO under the guidance of the Fuvahmulah City Council. Senior officials from WAMCO shared the waste management plan in Fuvahmulah City with the Vice President.

The Vice President was accompanied by the Minister of Health, Ahmed Naseem, the Minister of Gender, Family and Social Services, Aishath Mohamed Didi, the Minister of Finance, Ibrahim Ameer, Minister at the President’s Office, Ali Shiyam, and senior officials from the President's Office and the Government.
