President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih will address the nation in celebration of Republic Day on the morning of November 11th, 2020, at 1000 hours. The address will be broadcast nationally through the media.
Due to Covid-19, the Government had decided not to hold Republic Day Festivities this Year. In addition, the awarding ceremony for Special Achievement Award, previously scheduled to be awarded during the Republic Day festivities, has been rescheduled to a later date.
