The Policy Office at the President’s Office has conducted a briefing for Cabinet Ministers on the Executive Analysis of the execution of the Government’s 2019 - 2023 Strategic Action Plan (SAP) for the first quarter of 2020. The session was conducted at a virtual cabinet working session held this afternoon.
At the meeting, cabinet ministers were also briefed on the ISLES platform - a dedicated portal displaying the progress of PSIP projects undertaken by the Administration and containing information relevant to all islands within the Maldives. The review of the S.A.P highlighted developmental efforts from government ministries and institutions under each subcategory of the S.A.P within the first quarter of this year.
During the meeting, ministers also shared their views on amending the timeline of S.A.P goals in light of the economic impacts of Covid-19. Ministers also discussed the importance of the progress relevant to government projects being easily available to the public through a software portal such as ISLES.
