President Mohamed Nasheed has submitted nominations for two Ministries and the post of Attorney General for the approval of the People’s Majlis in accordance with the Article 129(c) of the Constitution. Nominees and the respective posts they were nominated are as follows:
- Mr Mahmood Raazee for the post of Minister of Civil Aviation and Communication.
- Mr Mohamed Shihab for the post of Minister of Home Affairs.
- Uz Husnu Suood for the post of Attorney General.
President Nasheed has also expressed his gratitude to Dr Mohamed Jameel Ahmed for services he rendered during his tenure as the Minister of Civil Aviation and Communication. The President is also confident that the people and the government of the Maldives would continue to receive his service in different areas.
