President Mohamed Nasheed has launched the new website of the President’s Office. The website launching ceremony was held at the President’s Office this morning.
Speaking at the ceremony, the President said that it was a great honour for him to launch the new website of the President’s Office on the World Press Freedom day.
Noting that the right to acquire and disseminate information are enshrined in the Constitution, the President said that it was his duty to respect and uphold these rights.
The President also thanked all the staff of the President’s Office for their cooperation and support.
Mr Ibrahim Yasir, Senior Programmer Analyst of the President’s Office designed the new website.
