On the occasion of the Constitution Day of Nepal, President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has conveyed felicitations to President Bidhya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba in separate messages.
He made this statement while addressing the attendees at the inauguration of “Y18 Sports Fiesta” organized by the Progressive Party of Maldives, held at the National Art Gallery this evening.
At the call, the Vice President welcomed the Ambassador to the Maldives and congratulated him on the commencement of his term as the Ambassador of China to the Maldives.
President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has sent a message of condolence to His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong XV Sultan Muhammad V of Malaysia, following the demise of Sultan Tuanku Abdul Halim of Kedah.
At a press conference held at the President’s Office this morning, lead representative of the Administration at the All-Party Talks initiated by President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom in 2015, Minister of Fisheries and Agriculture Dr. Mohamed Shainee has stated that no party has taken up the invitation from the administration to recommence the political dialogue between all political parties.
At the call, the Vice President expressed his sincere gratitude for the generous assistance and continued support rendered by Bangladesh for the socio-economic development of the Maldives.
