• Tariffs on Domestic category bands in Atolls that exceed 400 units, reduced to the same rate as that of Male'.
• Reduce tariff rates of businesses in all atolls to the same rate as those of Addu and Fuvahmulah.
Benefits • Reduction in amount payable on electricity bills of households and businesses in the form of a fuel discount.
• By equating rates of domestic bands exceeding 400 units in Atolls with those of Male, and by applying the fuel discount mentioned above, a household bill of 1600 rufiyaa will be reduced to approximately 1300 rufiyaa.
• By eliminating differences across all bands in the business category of islands in atolls, and by applying the Addu and Fuvahmulah city rates equally across the country, the amount payable for a business on a bill of 2400 rufiyaa will be reduced to approximately 1700 rufiyaa.

• The Police Strategic Plan, which includes Police Reform program, was launched during a ceremony to celebrate 81 years of Policing in the Maldives, held on 29 March 2019.

Tasks • Awareness sessions regarding road safety and helmet distribution aimed at residents of the Greater Male' region were conducted on 28 February and 02 March 2019. Sessions were conducted by Transport Authority, Health Protection Agency and Maldives Police Service.
• 5000 helmets in total obtained, some in collaboration with UNICEF and the rest through government procurement. The distribution process is underway.
• Standards for helmet usage have been set and added to the amended regulation on speed limit of inland motorized vehicles.
Benefits • Reduction in the number of accidents and improved road safety.
• In cases where accidents do occur, ensure the prevention of fatal and life-threatening injuries to victims.

Benefits • Faciliatate holding of Town Hall meetings relevant to the issues within the mandate of local councils, at the request of the general public.
• Facilitate increased participation of the public in Governance by strengthening the relationship between the state, local councils and the general public, and organize governance practices as per the pinciples of "Deliberative Democracy".
